MBDev — Official website

The site you are reading right now.

Business website, portfolio and entry point for client requests. Built from scratch, with no purchased template and no site builder, so that it stands as its own example of what I deliver.

A portfolio is its own demonstration

A developer's site has a peculiar problem: it is the proof. If it's slow, broken on mobile, or impossible to navigate by keyboard, it cancels out everything it claims.

So I treated it as a client engagement. Scope written before starting, a design system instead of values improvised page by page, and real checks across several screen widths rather than a quick glance.

What it does now, and what it can become

Beyond the portfolio itself, the site handles incoming project requests: a three-step form that collects the project type, the need, the budget range and the timeline, validated on both sides by the same schema.

Every request is stored, and I'm notified the moment it lands. The architecture leaves room for what comes next — qualification, follow-up, a client area — without building anything unnecessary today.

The most consequential decision was writing everything by hand instead of starting from a template. A purchased template would have been faster, but a portfolio built on someone else's work demonstrates nothing.
